This year's Jam in the Grove hosts a wonderful lineup of live music and will also boast a beef roast dinner to benefit the WRE program in Manheim area. At Noon on Saturday, 9/11/2010, under the beautiful trees of Ruhl's UMC picnic grove -- 2766 Newport Rd, Manheim, PA, 17545, the FREE concert will begin with "Salt 'n' Light," a jazz worship band that will touch your heart in new ways. (1:30 pm timeslot TBA) 3pm will see the return of local band Freznel Lenz, with a fresh lineup of people and songs! At 4:30pm, Jeremiah Coyne will take the stage, offering his unique brand of original music, sure to refresh the audience before a very well known Steven Courtney and Friends Band will closeout the night from 6-8pm. Around 9pm, we will have a classic "Kum-Ba-Yah" scene with marshmallows and singing around a campfire, so bring your acoustic guitars and join in!
Free camping will be allowed overnight (no elec. or water hookups,) and there will be a continental breakfast available by donation on Sunday Morning, followed by a Sunday School lesson at 9:30 am and a worship service at 10:30 am, led by Ruhl's New Harmony Praise Band, followed by leftover roast beef lucheon and softball game.

The "benefit" portion of the Beef Roast on 9/11 refers to the fact that all proceeds from this meal will go to WRE (Weekday Religious Education) program, which allows the opportunity for students to study the Bible as part of their school day.

Please support this great cause by purchasing your tickets for the Beef Roast ahead of time by following the link that should appear on this blog shortly.

thanx and have a great day!
